Something unique

One of its kind destination, where the Mahal looks afloat in the middle of a lake providing a serene and exceptional look of the palace.

Tips from insiders

  • You are not allowed to go inside the Mahal, so most of the 'journey' gets restricted to sightseeing from a distance.
  • Boating is a good option to have a closer look of the Mahal.
  • Show-off your photography skills as it is a picture perfect location with an amazing atmospheric setup.
  • Carry a water bottle, a sun-glass and a hat for you to beat the heat.
  • It is better to add it as a filler while you're on your way back to Jaipur from Amer Palace.
  • There are plenty of activities near the location - Camel riding for instance.
  • There is also a street market nearby.
